Contact: Released in May of 2013, MECA Music Heals put out a compilation CD featuring Eric Bazilian (Hooters), The Caulfields, Lauren Hart, Cliff Hillis, Minerva and others with all profits from sales being donated through MECA to The Philadelphia Children's Alliance. The are still a limited number of physical CD's available for purchase, and it is always available digitally.
On November 6, 2013, MECA Music Heals, Philadelphia Weekly, XPN Welcomes and World Café Live are came together for a concert to benefit the Philadelphia Children’s Alliance and victims of child sexual abuse. The concert also raised awareness for these victims by receiving significant news coverage of the event (multiple radio stations, newspaper/blog articles and an appearance on NBC 10 @Issue).
MECA Music Heals also partnered with 93.7 WSTW's Hometown Heroes program for a Monthly Music Series in the Fall of 2014 @ Extreme Pizza in Wilmington, DE with 20% of sales for the night being donated to the PCA.
MECA Music Heals has raised several thousand dollars to support children of abuse and continues to look for opportunities to raise awareness/funds for different organizations. Contact us at info@minervavision.com!
